Hello and happy Summer 2025! This post will bring you up to speed on what I have been up to since my last post and what's to come in the rest of 2025.
Winter sales cleaned out my inventory
You may remember the sale I had in November where I posted a 50% off painting every day on social media for a month. That sale resulted in many of my older paintings finding their forever homes! As a result I was able to free up more of my studio space and now I have a lovely studio-mate, Holly Kidder, a fabulous artist who works in pencil.
Monhgan Never Fails to Inspire
I just returned from a fantastic week-long painting adventure on Monhegan Island. I came away from that trip with 15 paintings, one of which I sold to the owner of the Monhegan House before leaving the island, and four that stayed behind in the Lupine Gallery, which will now represent some of my Monhegan work. The other paintings returned with me and now live in my studio. Please come visit to take a look! Just email me at finn.teach@gmail.com when you want to stop in and I will be sure to be there.
I traveled to Monhegan with several other talented painters: Linda Rowell-Kelly, Liz Cutler and Vicky Smith. Check out their wonderful Monhegan work as well!

What's Next?
I will not be doing any sidewalk art shows this year. After 22 years straight of doing these shows, its time to take a year off. I hope you all will keep following me on my Instagram and Facebook channels for direct access to my new work. Or visit my paintings at my studio or at the Lupine Gallery if you happen to be on Monhegan!
I will be exhibiting some work in Bar Harbor, August 2nd at the Harbor to Hudson Invitational show hosted by the Bar Harbor Historical Society. That work will be available for purchase online as well if you can't make the opening event. The event info is not yet posted but will show up here soon: https://barharborhistorical.org/events/.
